Reverse Profile in Civil 3D – How to Reverse a Finished Ground Profile
Did you know that in Autodesk Civil 3D, it is possible to reverse the direction and stationing of an alignment?
This can be done simply by selecting the alignment in the drawing, clicking on the Alignment Contextual tab on the ribbon, opening the Modify drop-down menu, and selecting Reverse Direction.

Reverse Direction command
The Reverse Direction command in Civil 3D not only flips the orientation of the alignment but also updates all dependent objects, such as profiles, sample lines, sections, corridor objects, and superelevation.
However, the Finished Ground Profile does not automatically update —it retains its original orientation, requiring manual adjustments.
