1. How can I activate my license?

To Activate license, select Kobi Toolkit tab, go to the far-right Kobi Toolkit panel, and click on License button.

Fill in the requested information and click on Activate. Validation window should appear, displaying remaining days of active license.

2. Can I activate multiple seats using a single serial number?

Yes. If you have a multi-seat license you can activate your KobiLabs software on as many computers as your license was issued for.

3. Does it support network licensing?

No. However, with a multi-seat license, you can activate the license on several computers using a single searial number. 

4. Can I use my licenses offline?

Yes. You’ll need an internet connection initially to generate an offline license. Once it’s generated, you can continue using any of the KobiLabs products offline. Learn more in the video below.

5. Can I install silently (without prompts)?

Yes. There are two different switches to do so.

/SILENT: Instructs Setup to be silent or very silent. When Setup is silent the wizard and the background window are not displayed but the installation progress window is.

/VERYSILENT: When a setup is very silent this installation progress window is not displayed.

6. How can I automate license activation so users don't need to enter the serial number individually?

You can store your serial number and activation user data in ASCII license.lic file. Please find the file structure below.

Once you have the license.lic file populated you need to copy it on each computer in following folder:

C:\ProgramData\KobiLabs\Toolkit for Revit\

The license will be activated upon first run of the command. This process willtake some seconds and the internet connection is needed to successfully finish the activation.

7. Can I install the latest version of KobiLabs software without losing my license?

Yes. You can install the latest version of any KobiLabs software without affecting your license. Our subscription policy ensures you always have access to the newest version of the software without any extra charges.

8. How often do you release updates, and how can I get the newest version?

We release regular updates for all our KobiLabs products. To check your current version and see if a new version is available, go to About and click on the Check for new version button.

Updates may include:

  • New releases
  • Bug fixes and improvements to existing features
  • New tools and functionalities

9. Can I install KobiLabs software alongside other third-party tools?

Yes. KobiLabs products install as regular plugins and can be installed alongside other third-party tools.

10. Do I need separate installations for different versions of AutoCAD, BricsCAD, Civil 3D, or Revit?

No. A single installation covers all supported versions of these platforms.
