# Grade 3D Polylines

Command description

Grade 3D Polylines command creates a 3D Polyline that represents a 3D offset of selected object. 3D offset is defined with horizontal distance (offset), slope or relative elevation. When selected entity is an arc, circle or polyline with arcs, then specified mid-ordinate distance is used to tessellate the arcs. The following entities are supported: Line, Polyline, 2D Polyline, Arc, Circle.

To grade 3D polyline

  1. Click Kobi Civil Modeler tab > Utilities panel > Grade 3D Polylines .

  2. Specify offset or Slope or Drape. Define offset value and press Enter.

  3. Specify slope or Grade or Relative elevaton. Click Relative elevation and define its value. Press Enter.

  4. Select object to offset.

  5. Specify side to offset.

  6. 3D polyline is created.
