Hatch Legend

Command Description

The "Hatch Legend" command is used to create a legend of hatches from the drawing. Users are able to create legends directly in paper space and select items directly from there. Legends can be updated automatically based on the defined area or Viewport. Optionally include a count column, and save item descriptions and item order for future reuse.

To create hatch legend

1. Click Kobi Toolkit for AutoCAD tab > Annotation > Hatch Legend .

2. Define selection method:

   • All: create a legend for all hatches in the drawing.
   • Window: create a legend for selected hatches inside defined window area.
   • Viewport: create a legend of hatches within selected viewport.

   

3. Select hatches manually using checkbox.

   • Click to select hatches from drawing
   • Click to deselect hatches from drawing
   • Click to select all hatches
   • Click to deselect all hatches
   • Click to open settings.

4. In a drop-down menu select predefined table style.

5. Specify the title of the hatch legend.

6. Check Include count column to add a Count column to your legend for even greater clarity.

7. Select the location for the upper-left corner of the table in the drawing.

   

Note: Legend item descriptions and their sequence are automatically saved, making it faster and easier to reuse your customized legends in future projects.
