With the Import tool, you can harvest all families in a project. You can choose one, multiple, or all families and import them into the current project.

How to import Families to Revit - Kobi Toolkit for Revit

  • Designate import path:

    Click on the button next to the displayed path to open the folder browser - Navigate to the desired folder - Press OK to select the path.

  • Selection:

    Select families and elements by checking the boxes in front of the elements.

    Use the toolbar to: Selection and search options

    • Select all nodes

    • Deselect all nodes

    • Invert checked nodes

    • Collapse selected nodes

    • Expand selected nodes

    • Collapse all nodes

    • Expand all nodes

    • Search elements by name

  • Import

Import selected elements from a selected folder into the project by clicking on the Import button.

Click on the Kobi Toolkit tab > go to _BIM Manager Panel > Click on Import tool
