# Create Profile from Pipes

Command Description

Creates a profile based on a selected pipe network, allowing users to generate a trench corridor that follows the pipe alignment and elevations. Profiles can be created from the Outside Top, Crown, Centerline, Invert or Outside Bottom of the pipe.

To create profile from pipes

  1. Click Kobi Toolkit for Civil 3D tab > Profiles panel > Create Profile from Pipes Create Profile from Pipes icon

  2. Select the the first part and the last part of a pipe network.

  1. In Create Profile from Pipes dialog, select a pipe point: Outside Top, Crown, Centerline, Invert or Outside Bottom of the pipe.

  2. Select the alignment.

  3. Define profile name, profile style, profile layer and profile label set.

  4. Click OK to create a profile from pipes.
